A traditional still life composition featuring a classical bust and a vase of flowers in muted pastel tones.

Saga Walli was born in Prague, the daughter of opera singer Johannes Elmblad and author Sigrid Elmblad. Saga studied under Kerstin Cardon in Stockholm (1909–1911) and Carl Wilhelmson in Gothenburg and Stockholm (1911–1916). Best known for her altarpieces painted for Swedish churches, including in Klippan, Långdrag, Murum, and Messaure. The Swedish National Museum collection includes several of her works.
