A particularly atmospheric and beautiful work in its original frame. Georg Lindström was self-taught. His first solo exhibition was at the De Ungas salong in Stockholm in 1947 and went on to exhibit at the National Museum in StockholmUnga tecknare (Young Artists) and at the Liljevalch Gallery. Best known for still life, portraits and cityscapes, particularly of his home town Stockholm, as well as abstract interiors. Lindström’s work is in the collection of Stockholm City Museum.
